Kashmir Harvard Educational Institute cricket team outplayed Spring Buds School Budgam in the semifinal of the Kashmir Harvard Inter-School cricket tournament to book place in the final.Harvard semifinal

In the semifinal played at TRC Ground Srinagar on Monday, Spring Buds after deciding to bat first were bundled out for 63 runs in 14 overs. Arsalan with 20 and Ashish with 17 were highest scorers for them while as Farzan took 3 wickets for Harvard. Saqib took two while as Faiq, Kaleem and Faisal took one each.

In reply, Harvard achieved required target for the loss of only 1 wicket in 10 overs. Yasir with unbeaten 36 was highest scorer while as Sheeraz scored unbeaten 13. Junaid took one wicket for Spring Buds.

With this win Kashmir Harvard cruised into final of the tournament where they will clash with either SP School or Green Valley.

Commissioner Srinagar Municipality, Reyaz   Ahmad Wani was chief guest during man of the match ceremony while as PDP Youth Wing Secretary Arif Laigaroo and Director State Cricket Academy Mubashir Hassan were other guests present. Farzan was adjudged as man of the match.

On the occasion SMC Commissioner on the occasion hailed event and assured SCA all kind of support. The event is organized by SCA in collaboration with Amblin and is sponsored by Kashmir Harvard, J&K Bank and Unibic Biscuits.
