Srinagar: Winter Games Association of J&K is all set to hold different sporting events this winter at Gulmarg that includes district, regional and state ski and Snowboarding Championships, fielding teams in nationals, and hosting Khelo India (National Winter Sports) and Federation Ski Cup shortly.
The National Alpine Ski, Nordic and Snowboarding Championships for all age groups are being held at Auli, Uttrakhand from February 7 to 11.
The WGAJK has asked athletes, those who have bagged first four positions in the last State Championship held in March 2019 to report to Shabir Ahmad Wani, Coordinator Selection Committee Cell No 9541632018 or Shabir Ahmad Dar Asstt CSC Cell No 7298193335 or Tahir Shafi asstt CSC Cell No 7006041442 immediately failing which they will not be considered for the participation in Nationals. The selected athletes shall submit 2 copies of PP size photograph and attested copies of DOB to Shabir.
