Due to the prevalent situation across Kashmir, J&K Cricket Association (JKCA) has shut down all its coaching camps going on at Sheri-Kashmir Cricket Stadium Srinagar.

After taking view of the prevalent situation in Kashmir, JKCA decided to shut down all its coaching camps at Stadium from Saturday. The practice matches involving eight teams of shortlisted players from all over State were going on at Stadium. Apart from that coaching camp for Under-16 and 19 cricketers was also going at the stadium.

All those coaching camps have closed and players have been released from the camps. JKCA will resume camps only after situation becomes better. All the cricketers have been sent to their home districts including Jammu division players.

Due to the uncertainty over what Centre is planning to do in Kashmir there are chaos in Kashmir . The security has been build up, tourists, Amarnath pilgrimage Yatris have been asked to leave Kashmir. There are total chaoes and amid that all even JKCA has closed all its activities.
