Srinagar, May 6: Adding to his chances of earning an England tour berth, Kashmir’s Amir Rather on Monday picked a fifer in the ongoing camp of Physically Challenged Cricket Association of Indai at Hubli.
The left-arm pacer while playing for Farokh Engineer XI side bowled an exceptional spell of seam bowling, impressing one and all.
After his team posted the total of 148 runs in the allotted overs, Amir striked early when they came out to bowl. He removed five of the Kenkata Raghav XI batsmen while giving paltry 20 runs in 3.1 overs.
His spell earned Farokh Engineer XI a 39-run victory as Kenkata XI was bundled out on 109 runs.
The youngster was later declared man of the match. The camp organised by PCCAI is to select an Indian team squad for the upcoming tour to England.
