Union Sports Minister Kiran Rijiju inaugurated the first Online Taolu National Wushu Championship on Friday.
Online Taolu National wushu championship started with Union sports minister the Chief Guest.

He congratulated Wushu Association of India for the 1st Online Taolu National Wushu championship in India thatbis being held from May 15 to 18.

In his speach he applauded wushu  athletes and coaches for the wonderful performance in the  World championship and Asian Games, Wushu Association statement said.

He assured full support for the better performance in the coming Youth Olympic Games and Asian Games. He also conveyed his gratitude to the Secretary General IWUF Zhang Qiuping for his support to the Wushu Association of India.

Dr.Narinder Dhruv Batra ,IOA president and President IHF was all  praise to Wushu Association of India.He appreciated the efforts of Bhupender Singh Bajwa (President )WAI for taking the wushu sports in india to the  new heights.

He urged Union sports minister for earliest plan for the preparation of the India team for thr 2022 Asian Games and he assured that wushu will change the color if the metal in the 2022 Games.

Zhang Qiuping Secretary General of International Wushu Federation was the special guest on occasion and he congratulated wushu Association of India for the historic 1st ever National Online Wushu championship.

The wushu athletes across the country presented the online demonstration during the ceremony which was applauded by the VIP’S.

The president of the Wushu Association of J&K Vijay Saraf Congratulated J&k wushu team  for the participation in the Online National wushu championship and Kuldeep Handoo who is the part and parcel of the Online Taolu National wushu championship. he wished the team and the National chief coach the best of luck for the historic event
