Akif Reshi is footballer of the year

The Anantnag-born top footballer of Jammu and Kashmir, Akif Reshi had an unforgettable season for his club, J&K Bank this year. Having made his skills do the talking, the stalwart has been the main force behind the clubs’ success during recent times.

After scoring a brace while captaining J&K in Santosh Trophy, the ace footballer finished 2nd Division I-League as one of the top goal scorers with 8 goals.

He later helped J&K Bank in lifting Mufti Syed and Mushtaq Memorial tourneys as well. Moreover, the striker ended the state league as top scorer of the tournament.

Owing to these fabulous figures and the voting process we structured across our social media platforms where Akif Reshi got 90% in his favour, he is our footballer of the year.
