Former Indian Premier League (IPL) chairman Lalit Modi has posted details of former Indian cricket captain Mahender Singh Dhoni’s employment contract with the India Cement company on Twitter.Modi’s post says that Dhoni was appointed the vice-president of the company and received a basic pay of Rs 43, 000 per month, besides fixed allowance of Rs 21, 900 a month. The contract also had details, which paid Dhoni special salaries and allowances.The contract dates back to June 29, 2012.
Modi also wrote on Instagram: “It seems only in india contempt after contempt continues by the old guards of bcci – How ? My best guess is northblock. But most puzzling is this employment contract of MSD – WHY ? he earns 100’s of crores a year will he agree to be SRINI’S employee. bet there are many such contracts.”Lalit Modi had fled India in 2010, after facing charges of financial irregularity in IPL. He is currently living in Britain. His extradition process is still pending.
