After Mohammad Mudhasir had removed Uttar Pradesh top order on Thursday, it was turn of spinner Akaash Chowdary and Waseem Raza to pick early three wickets for J&K on Friday to leave UP on 143/6 at lunch in Ranji Trophy match at Jammu.

Resuming inning from 31/3 , UP went to reach lunch at 143/6 , still trailing J&K in first inning by 147 runs. Akaash Chowdary gave J&K first two breakthroughs in the day by removing opener Madhav Mashik and then the prize scalp of Suresh Raina. Just before lunch Waseem raza joined the act by removing Aksh Deep Nath who scored 43.

At lunch for UP, Rinku Singh is batting on 42 with Upendra Yadav on 6. J&K will hope to wrap up inning quickly to get decent first inning lead. J&k in its first inning had scored 290 runs with the help of Irfan Pathan’s 91 and Parvez Rasool’s 87.
