Srinagar: Senior Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Hafeez Saturday slammed a journalist for tagging him in ‘players who can’t play the short ball’, saying ‘Corona isolation can cause mental illness.’

Umar Farooq Kalson, ESPNCricinfo’s Pakistan correspondent, while quoting the Wisden’s Tweet, which asked “Tag someone who just can’t play the short ball 🤭” with a funny video attached to it, mentioned Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Hafeez with a couple of question marks at the end.

Taking a dig at him, Hafeez replied, “Corona isolation can cause Mental illness. Sources @kalson #Staysafe”
