Srinagar, Sept 22: Mujtaba Rizvi starred with both bat and ball to guide Azmat Stars to a title triumph of Late Moulvi Mushtaq T20 Tournament.

In the final played on Monday at Gani Memorial Stadium Rajouri Kadal, Azmat Stars defeated Downtown XI by five wickets.

After winning the toss, Downtown XI chose to bat first. Star cricketer Abid Nabi gave them a blistering start scoring quick 39 run knock. However none of the other batsman were able to stay in the middle and take inning forward. They got all out for 131 run total. Abid top scored with 39 while as Atif Bisati scored 30. For Azmat Stars, Usaid took three wickets while as Mujtaba took two.

In reply Azmat Stars had terrible start losing four wickets on the score if only 17. However Mujtaba Rizvi played a counter attacking knock to lead his side to a comfortable victory. Mujtaba remained not out on 69. He was awarded man of the match for his all round performance.

Naseer Ahmad was guest on the occasion and gave away prizes.
