Srinagar Dec 12: Kashmir University Volleyball team men created history as they will play qualifiers tomorrow against Punjab University Chandigarh in the ongoing North Zone Inter University volleyball tournament men at Kanpur University.

Kashmir university volleyball team men won it’s fourth straight match by defeating Choudhary Bansi Lal University Bhiwani in a nail biting finish by 3-2 sets. Anas Younus Munawwar Khan Aaqib Rafiq Shakir were stars of the match.

Earlier Kashmir university volleyball team men Defeated SMVD Katra University by 3 sets to 0.. (25-13, 25-17, 25-1) and in second match defeated Haridwar University and in the third match against strong  Rohilkhand  University Bariely in straight three sets 25-21, 25-22,25-19. Coordinator,Directorate of physical education and sports Dr. Nisar Ahmad Khan ,Mr Nadeem Ahmad (assistant director)and Mr. Towseef Ahmad (assistant director)congratulated the team for their excellent performance in the tournament and Team deserves all the applause for performing exceptionally well despite all odds.It is a matter of pride for the entire university in general and the Directorate in particular for such a historical achievement  ,they further added.
