On this day in 2017, an era that had many ups and downs came to end for the Pakistan Cricket with its two batting stalwarts calling it a day in International cricket after being part of Pakistan first Test series win against West indies in West Indies.

On this day in 2017, Pakistan defeated Windies after a thriller at Roseau to register Pakistan’s first Test series win in the Caribbean. This was also the last international appearance of batting greats Misbah ul Haq and Younus Khan.

The duo together scored 3213 runs at 68.36 while batting for Pakistan, the highest aggregate for any batting combination in its history.
