Former England captain, Nasser Hussain has said that Pakistan can’t be ‘written off’ as the side can cause an upset in the upcoming World Cup.
Pakistan cricket team has always been one of the most unpredictable sides. They have at days stunned teams out of nowhere while at times succumbed from comfortable positions.
Having recently triumphed the Champions Trophy at the same venue, Pakistan can cause another shock at England in the all-important World Cup, believes Nasser Hussain.
‘Many Pakistani fans will say they have followed their team for too long and had their hearts broken many times, but I love them, and I love their cricket,’ he told PakPassion.
‘I love them because they are mercurial Pakistan and you wonder which Pakistan will turn up on the day. The fact is that you cannot write off Pakistan for this World Cup.’
The Asian side is currently on a tour to England and it would surely help them take note of the conditions before the field in the mega event.
