It was a spectacular day for Jammu and Kashmir cricket as Paras Sharma scored an unbeaten 241 run knock in a 45 over game in J&K Cricket Association (JKCA) trial match at Sheri-Kashmir Cricket Stadium Sonwar here on Saturday.paras sharma

In the ongoing JKCA trial matches in which almost all the top cricketers of State are featuring, Team-E clashed with Team-D on Saturday. The clash turned out to be a one sided affair as Team-E skipper Paras Sharma thrashed Team-D bowlers on way to score unbeaten 241 run knock off 144 balls in 45-over match.

With his double ton, Team-E posted a mammoth total of 341 runs on board for the loss of five wickets in allotted 45 overs. Paras Sharma knock included eight sixes. In reply, Team-D got bundled out for 160 runs. Team-E won match by 181 runs.

It is first double ton in JKCA’s competitive limited overs format tournament and everyone is praising the inning.

“I watched inning from front row and it was amazing experiencing watch something like this. He neutralized all the top opposition bowlers with his brilliant hitting as well as technique,” said Samir Bell who was JKCA umpire for the match.

Parvez Rasool has also praised Paras Sharma for the inning and said that purpose of these matches is to give platform to perform for such talented cricketers.

“This is what we want and it is for this purpose early practice matches are being held involving all the top level cricketers of State. We want players like him for our team and this inning was against any ordinary team or players,” Parvez said.
