Pulwama, August 23: A fiery display of batting by Parvez Para and Sameer Wani Sunday piloted Tahab Tigers to a big win of 110 runs against Friends XI in the ongoing Koil T20 league.

Opening the batting for Tigers, both Parvez and Sameer looked in an unreal touch. The former is known for his ability to hit the ball long ways while latter is more of a calm one.

However, after they started well, there was no looking back. On one side, Parvez struck the ball hard while Sameer too didn’t show any shyness in scoring big hits.

The duo took Tahab to a big total of 200 runs. Parvez ended up scoring a fine century, 115, precisely. Sameer too made beautiful-looking 70 runs.

In reply, Friends XI Koil looked out of sorts. They struggled from the word go, hence letting the opposition take over.

Sajad Ahmad was the only batter to show some resistance as he scored 25. For Tahab, Nazir and Sameer picked three and two wickets, respectively.
