Srinagar: After two brilliant bowling performances Parvez Rasool shined with the bat for Gazi Group Cricketers when he got the chance in the ongoing Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League at Bangladesh on Wednesday.
Batting first against Prime Doleshwar, Gazi Group owing to 150 run knock by Mominul Haque posted 307 run on board for the loss of all wickets in 48 overs. He was well supported by Nasir Hussain who scored 62 and Parvez Rasool who scored 53.
During his knock Parvez firmed 100 run partnership with Mominul. He scored 53 runs in 54 deliveries before getting out that included three huge sixes.
In reply Prime Doleshwar were able to score 272 runs in allotted 50 overs for the loss of nine wickets. Parvez completed his 10-over spell taking one wicket.
