Preview: Confident J&K eye to topple Kerala

UncategorizedPreview: Confident J&K eye to topple Kerala

After trouncing strong-looking Andhra Pradesh on Monday, Jammu and Kashmir would be aiming to topple another star-studded side, Kerala, as they face them on Tuesday in their fifth match of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

The team has shown a lot of promise in this tournament despite having not done well in Ranji and Vijay Hazare Trophy. The Parvez Rasool-led side started the T20 assignment with a win over Nagaland while fought equally well in the following two matches verses heavyweights, Jharkhand and Delhi, however, finishing on losing side.

The young-experince mingled team made a healthy comeback against hosts, Andhra, pipping them easily by five-wickets. Now, the next challenge for them is up against Kerala.

Kerala has thus far won two out of the three games as stands at third place in points while J&K has also won two out of the four games, standing fourth. Victory against Kerala would push them further up but to do that, they need to produce an exceptional show.

Meanwhile, cricket enthusiasts across J&K can watch the game live on Star Sports 2 and Hotstar.
