Qamran Iqbal couldn’t do much as India U19 ‘B’ on Monday defeated India U19 ‘A’ by 72 runs to lift the Quadrangular tourney at
Greenfield Stadium, Trivandrum.

After cruising past South Africa and Afghanistan, India A and B had made their way in the finals of the series. Lastly, India ‘B’ emerged on top Rahul Chandral and Sushant Mishra steered them to an easy win.

Batting first, Chandrol-led India ‘B’ posted a par total of 232 runs in the allotted 50 overs. In reply, India ‘A’ looked quite ordinary as they kept losing wickets in quick succession. They were bundled out on meager 160 runs.

J&K’s Qamran Iqbal who bagged the man of the match award in the first match made mere 6 runs in the match.
