In its 8-wicket win against Tripura on the home turf of Sheri-Kashmir Cricket Stadium Sonwar, hosts J&K missed the opportunity of claiming a bonus point.
After being set a target of 40 runs to win by Tripura, J&K needed to overhaul total without loss of any wicket. J&K started the chase with Shubham Khajuria and Ian Dev Singh in absence Ahmad Banday who was injured. J&K hopes of earning extra point were dashed in the very first over when Ian Dev was clean bowled by Mura Singh on fourth ball of the inning for naught. J&K achieved target for the loss of two wickets and failed to get bonus point.
From the match J&K earned six points and that pushed them to fifth place on points table with seven points. Rajasthan is at top of the table with 18 points.
