Jammu and Kashmir is all set to face star-studded Jharkhand at GGM Science College ground on Monday in their last encounter of this year’s Ranji Trophy as they have been already knocked out of the tournament.

The Parvez Rasool-led side had a brilliant outing in the last match, defeating Haryana with a big margin. They are placed at sixth position in the points table with 19 points from the eight game thus far.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, Jharkhand is at third spot with 33 points. Having likes of Varun Aaron, Shahbaz Nadeem, Saurabh Tiwary and few other star players in the side, the visitors would start as favourites to win the match.

However, J&K looked quite strong in the last match and might give Jharkhand a tough competition. Bowling has been their strength in the tournament while as batters haven’t contributed on a consistent basis.
