After a disappointing outing against Services, J&K Ranji trophy team is all set take on inform Uttar Pradesh in another home tie of Ranji Trophy at GGM Science College ground Jammu from Thursday.
J&K stands at 8th place in a group of 10 teams in Elite Group-C while as Uttar Pradesh stand at 2nd place. J&K has registered one win from four matches while as suffered two defeats and held to draw in one. They have only got 7 points. UP side has got two wins from the 4 matches played and have also played 2 draws. They have got impressive 18 points.
After playing against teams like Goa, Tripura and Services J&K will find it tough to take on inform UP side that boost some of star players. J&K has not been impressive against bottom of the table side teams and it would be interesting see how they go against UP.
For J&K, there is good news of Parvez Rasool being in his full rhythm with both bat and ball that was on full display against Services. Shubham Khajuria has also been doing well but all the others have been inconsistence. There is all likelihood that J&KJ will go on with some changes in the team for the match.
J&K is playing this match on their home turf of Jammu. Though conditions will suit them but it would not be as favorable for homes side as it were in Srinagar. Jammu weather will be liking to UP side as well.
