As expected consistent rains marred the second day of play in Ranji Trophy tournament between J&K and Chhattisgarh at GGM Science College Jammu on Tuesday.

The rains that started during Wee hours continued in the morning and their was no play possible.

When this report was being filed rains were going on with no hope of let down. MeT office has predicted two days of wet weather across J&K.

Earlier on first day of play Chhattisgarh went on to post 270/4 in 90 overs. Harpreet scored 116 run knock for them.
