The pace rookie sensation of J&K and the member of Indian Premier League-2019 champion side Mumbai Indians Rasikh Salam will be joining India Under-19 camp at National Cricket Academy Bangalore in next few days.

Rasikh who was already selected for India Under-19 camp but had not joined the rest of the members due to his IPL duties will be joining NCA Bangalore in next couple of days.

He will be joining other three players from J&K who are part of the U-19 camp in NCA.

The other three are Qamran Iqbal, Mujtaba Yousuf and Kanhaiya Wadhwan.

All of them produced exceedingly well performances in both Cooch Behar and Vinoo Makand Trophy, hence earning a place in his special BCCI-organised camp.

Qamran, having appeared for India U-19 side for a couple of assignments, was an automatic choice while Mujtaba and Kanhaiya also had attended the same camp last year as well.

Pertinently, Rasikh Salam, who recently came back from IPL after being part of champion side Mumbai Indians had already found a place in the camp where top U-19 cricketers across India will be trained. While Mujtaba, Qamran and Kanhaiya had already joined camp, Rasikh couldn’t join because of his IPL duties.

It is for the first time that more than two J&K cricketers made it to the NCA camp at a time.
