Srinagar, May 5: Rasikh Salam is likely to make it to the Mumbai Indians’ playing XI as the Rohit Sharma-led side faces Kolkata Knight Riders in the last group-stage match of Indian Premier League at Wankhede tonight.

The side played local pacer, Barinder Sran in the last two matches, however, the left-arm quickie failed miserably on both the occasions. He conceded expensive 27 runs in his two overs in the first match while leaked 24 four in as many overs in the second.

Since Rasikh had an arguably good outing in his debut match, the youngster might get another go in tonight’s game at Wankhede. The track in Mumbai having a bit for seamers surely adds to his chances in the playing XI.

Pertinently, one of the leading media outlets in India, Hindustan Times has also predicted that Rasikh Salam will appear for MI in this crucial encounter against KKR.
