Much awaited I-League home game of Real Kashmir FC against east Bengal in I-League has been shifted out of Srinagar to Delhi.
The match will now be played in Delhi instead of Srinagar as the scheduled February 28 match did not got security clearance. Real Kashmir FC that played its I-League against Indian Arrows on Sunday instead of coming back to Srinagar stayed in Delhi.
“Real Kashmir team that was scheduled to reach Srinagar today has been halted Delhi. The match against East Bengal now will be played in Delhi on same date but the venue is yet to be finalized. There are two venues in Delhi, Ambedlkar Stadium and Jawaharlal Lal Nehru Stadium. All India Football Federation (AIFF) will decide about that,” said an official.
As per sources the match did not got security clearance and was forced to be shifted out of Kashmir. The match had earlier got postponed due to snow in Kashmir.
