India’s Tennis ace Sania Mirza and Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik welcomed the arrival of a new member in their family as Sania gave birth to Baby Mirza Malik on October 30. The cricketer announced the news on Twitter while assuring fans that both the mother and child are healthy and doing good. Pakistani cricketers Mohammad Amir was among the first ones to congratulate the couple on the arrival of their baby.sania-shoaib-malik-

Sania’s parents Imran and Nasima Mirza along with her husband and Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik were present in the private hospital in the city here.

Later, the couple named their son, Izhaan Mirza Malik, meaning God’s gift.

“Excited to announce: Its a boy, and my girl is doing great and keeping strong as usual #Alhumdulilah. Thank you for the wishes and Duas, we are humbled  #BabyMirzaMalik,” tweeted Malik announcing the birth of his son.

The couple tied the knot on April 12, 2010 and earlier this year on April 23, Sania broke the news of her pregnancy as she revealed that she has finally decided to ‘settle down’.
“We are soon to become parents,” Sania had said in a statement while revealing the pregnancy news. “Having thought about it for a while, we both felt right now is the correct time to start a family. When we found out, we were ecstatic and couldn’t wait to give out this news to our fans and well-wishers.

Sania has been out of the Tennis court since October 2017 but intends to participate in the 2020 Olympics. Shoaib, meanwhile, has been busy in the on-field action. He was most recently a part of the series against Australia in UAE. The former Pakistan skipper was one of the best batsmen for his country in the 2018 Asia Cup.
