Srinagar, July 9: With Pakistan not finding any kit sponsor as they Tour England, Pakistan Cricket Board has decided to feature former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi’s foundation logo on its kit.

Pakistan is currently training in Worcester ahead of three Tests and as many T20Is in August and September and were recently spotted with no logo on its training kits.

Shahid Afridi took to his official Twitter handle in response to a tweet of Pakistan journalist Saj Sadiq and announced the news.

“We’re delighted that the Shahid Afridi Foundation logo will be featured on Pakistan playing kits since we are charity partners to PCB. Thanking Wasim Khan and the PCB for their continued support & wishing our boys all the very best with the tour.”

As per Pakistan media reports PCB is struggling to find a sponsor after their last sponsorship contract, which already expired with a beverage company. During the recent bidding process, only one company has shown interest.
