After keeping him idle in whole season last year, the Kashmir cricketer Manzoor Pandav was on November 15 released by Indian Premier League (IPL) side Kings-XI Punjab from the squad and will now go back into players auction alongwith other 10 players released by the side.
The Kings XI Punjab on Wednesday announced its list of released, retained and traded players for the upcoming edition of the league. The list of released players included Kashmir cricketer Manzoor Pandav who was acquired by franchisee last year for Rs 20 Lakhs in player’s auction. In entire IPL 2018 edition Manzoor Pandav was part of the Punjab side but was handed a dedut.
The statement issued by Kings-XI Punjab reads on its website reads, “The team would like to thank the players who have been released for their contributions and wishes them the very best for the future.This leaves KXIP with at least eight more spots to complete the squad, which will be addressed in the player auction ahead of the next season”.
