FeatureStats: Jatin Wadhwan, Abdul Samad form highest ever partnership for J&K in T20s

Outstanding opening partnership between Jatin Wadhwan and Abdul Samad steered J&K to a big win against Nagaland in the first match of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on Thursday at CP Ground, Andhra.

The duo formed record 126 runs partnership with Samad scoring unbeaten 76 while Jatin contributing 62 runs. This stand touched several records, including the highest ever partnership for J&K in T20s.

Here are the complete stats:

1. Highest T20 partnership for J&K

This 126-run stand between Jatin and Samad cruised past the previous record set by Bandeep Singh and Syed Sagar who had made 109 runs for eight wicket against Haryana in 2013.

2. Best opening stand for J&K in T20s

The partnership also is now the best opening stand for J&K in the shortest format of the game. Previously, Adil Reshi and Ian Singh were on top for their 75 runs in 2015 against Delhi.
