After posting a big total of 189 runs, J&K bowlers failed to restrict the opposition, costing them a chance to break the losing streak against Delhi.
Earlier, batting heroics by Shubham Pundir, Jatin Wadhwan and cameos by Irfan Pathan and Parvez Rasool steered J&K to 189-run total.
In reply, J&K scalped few early wickets and were well in the match until 19th over. However, the second last over changed the scenario of game. Lalit Yadav took the charge against J&K’s mentor, Irfan Pathan as he hit him for 18 runs.
Then in last over, Delhi needed 13 runs and they finished it off with one ball to go as Manzoor Dar who was bowling his first over of the innings couldn’t defend it for his team.
With this win, Delhi made it 10-0 against J&K in T20s.
