Pakistan may got knocked out of the ICC Cricket World Cup-2019 and may have not qualified for the semifinal after falling short on net run-rate but they did exit the biggest stage of cricket with bag full of cash.
Pakistan finished the league stage with 11 points to their name but couldn’t qualify because of their net run-rate. The number fourth-placed team New Zealand also had 11 points but they qualified because of their superior run-rate.
As per reports Pakistan team will get Rs 2.24 crore despite not qualifying for the semi-final. As per the International Cricket Council (ICC) teams get Rs 28 lakhs for winning a match in the league stage, Rs 14 lakhs for an abandoned match and Rs 70 lakhs for playing league stage.
