Srinagar, June 22: Shadab Khan, Haris Rauf and Haider Ali have tested positive for Covid-19, Pakistan Cricket Board confirmed on Monday.
All the three players though haven’t shown any symptoms until their tests were taken at Rawalpindi.
Imad Wasim and Usman Shinwari, who were also tested, have, however, been found negative.
“The other players and team officials, barring Cliffe Deacon, Shoaib Malik and Waqar Younis, underwent tests at their respective centres in Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar on Monday. Their results are expected at some stage on Tuesday, which will also be announced by the PCB through its usual channels.
Until then, the PCB will not make any further comment.” A statement by PCB read.
Earlier, former Pakistan captain, Shahid Afridi was also tested positive for Covid-19. He though recently revealed that he is recovering.
