After suffering two crushing defeats , J&K bounced back strongly with 174 run win over hosts Odhissa in the match of the Under-19 Cooch Behar Trophy cricket tournament at Cuttack on Monday.

Resuming its second inning from 185 for the loss of five wickets in chase of a 510 run target hosts Odhissa got all out for 335 runs in second inning to hand over 174 run win to J&K.

Overnight notout batsman was last man out for Odhissa playing a marathon knock of 171 runs to carry Odhissa inning. For J&K Dhruv Singh took four wickets while as Basit and Abhay took two wickets each.

Earlier in first inning J&K had scored 256 runs. Yawar Hassan with 84 was highest scorer for them while as Dhruv Singh scored 50.

In its first inning Odhissa had got all out for 97 runs . In its second inning J&K declared on 350 to set 510 run winning target for Odhissa. Musaif Aijaz with 153 not out was highest scorer for them while as Kanhaiya scored 103.

J&K got six points from the match and will next play Baroda at Jammu on December 13.
