Seamer, Umar Lone and wicket-keeper batsman, Kanhaiya Wadhwan on Tuesday steered Team Blue to 100-run win over Team Red in the ongoing U-23 Trial matches in Jammu.
While batting first, Team Blue managed to post a par total of 220 runs, largely due to an unbeaten fifty by Kanhaiya Wadhwan.
Usaid and Hanan Mir also contributed with the cameos as both of them scored 26 runs each. For bowling side, spinner, Imtiyaz Ganai took three and pacer, Irfan ul Haq chipped in with two wickets.
Team Red in reply never looked in the game. They kept losing wicket at regular intervals. Umar Lone stuck on and again alongside spinner, Aman Sharma. The former scalped four wicket-haul while latter picked three wickets, helping Blues script a big win of 100 runs.
