Chasing the huge target of 313, J&K batting collapsed and were bundled out on 163 runs in 34 overs. Though Ahmad Banday and Shubham Khajuria started of well but as soon as Ahmad Banday was removed by Mehdi, J&K kept losing wickets.
The only impressive appearance was that of debutant Puneet Kumar who made 43 of 34 balls, apart from him Shubham Khajuria made 35 and Ahmad Banday 26 runs. While rest of batsmen couldn’t do much.
With this defeat, the road to enter next round of the tournament ended for J&K. Though they still have one more match.
