Team Indio skipper and bating superstar Virat Kohli recently was listed as the only cricketer to be included in the list of top 100 highest-paid athletes of 2020 put forward by Forbes magazine.

Kohli is also the only Indian athlete to be featured in the list. According to Forbes, Kohli had an estimated total earnings of $26 million ($24m from endorsements and $2m from salary/winnings). He made a jump of over 30 places from 2019, as he was positioned at the 66th spot in this year’s list.

Apart from his batting and his personality on the field, his fashion sense is another factor that makes him so popular among the fans especially the youngsters. It won’t be wrong at all to say that the batting superstar is one of the biggest fashion icons of the country.

A look at his Instagram profile will be enough to convince anyone that Virat Kohli just loves to spend lavishly on clothes and other accessories. The India skipper also loves to spend big on timepieces and his recent Instagram post pretty much proves that.

Virat Kohli recently took to Instagram to post a picture of himself in which his wrist watch was pretty much the main attraction. The watch he was wearing is the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona. One of the main features of the exquisite watch is that it has a bezel engraved with a tachymetric scale, used to measure average speeds. The watch also includes three watch dials and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.

Introduced way back in 1963, the Cosmograph Daytona was designed to meet the demands of professional racing drivers. It is still one of the most if not the most wrist watches among sportsmen.

Not unsurprisingly, the watch costs a good amount of fortune. According to Mensxp, Virat Kohli spent around Rs 8,60,700 to buy the masterpiece.
