SRINAGAR: Volleyball enthusiasts of Kashmir Valley, especially those practicing at the newly established academy at Rajbagh, have appealed to the J&K State Sports Council for upgrading the existing facilities.Volleyball
These players were of the view that there was lot of scope for the game of volleyball to grow in Valley the reason being the sport is popular among the rural masses and needs little investment.
“People often play volleyball in summers in Kashmir. A good number of young spikers are being trained by the qualified coaches at the established coaching centers. So, we appeal to the Sports Council officials to upgrade the facilities at the Rajbagh academy,” one of the trainee said.
