Apart from pacer Amir Hassan Rather, opening batsman Wasim Iqbal Khan from Anantnag has also been selected for the Physical Disability (PD) World Cricket Series tournament going to be held in England.

In a selection meeting held on May 29, Amir was selected as left arm pacer while as Wasim was selected as opening batsman for the All India Cricket Association For The Physically Challenged (AICAPC) Wadekar Warriors team. Team comprise of 16 members and four standbye.

An Indian team will represent the country in the first 2019 Physical Disability World Cricket Series which will be held in England. The tournament, organised by the England and the Wales Cricket Board, will be held at Worcestershire from 3 to 13 August.
