Srinagar, May 4: J&K’s cricket prodigy, Rasikh Salam, on Saturday revealed how it felt for him to make his debut for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League.

The Kulgam-born at the age of 17 appeared for Men in Blue and Gold in the very first match of tournament against Delhi Capitals, becoming one of the youngest players to play in IPL.

He was given the opportunity to bowl very first over of the innings. Recalling the moment, the teenager said,

“Bowling the first over for Mumbai Indians at Wankhede was a special feeling, of course it was the best moment of my life.”

Rasikh, however, didn’t appear in the following matches of MI, though is expected to make the cut in the last group stage match of the franchise.

This evening, the official social media handle of Mumbai Indians released the video of Rasikh, where he talked about his debut.
