Uttar Pradesh registered 8-wicket win against the out of sorts looking J&K in the Senior Womens One Day League (2018-19) match at Cuttack on December 12.
Chasing a 98 run total set by J&K, UP achieved target in only 29 overs for the loss of 2 wickets. They completely outplayed J&K in both batting and bowling. Aditi scored 50 not out and Tanu Kala 28 not out. Only wickets to fall were of Muskan(1) and Shobha (9). For JK, Sarla Devi took 2 wickets.
Earlier J&K once again fielded same squad in the match that has been hammered in previous four matches. In allotted 50-overs J&K scored only 98 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. It looked like another Test match for J&K who has been playing so slow in entire league.
Meenu Singh Slathia top scored with 42 runs from 107 balls which as per One-Day cricket is pathetic. Sarla Devi who has been failure in entire league scored 17 from 77 balls while Rubia Sayed scored 10 from 25.Sheerazah Banoo scored 11 from 22. Amoung others Buhsra and Nadia got out for duck while as Jaspreet Kaur scored 3, Sandhya 5, and Bisma Hassan 1.
For UP, Tanu Kala and Rashi Kanojiya took 2 each. When this report was being filed, UP were 23/2 in 9 overs while chasing 98 run total.
