World Cup 2019: Pakistan likely to make two changes against England

UncategorizedWorld Cup 2019: Pakistan likely to make two changes against England

Srinagar, June 3: After being humbled in the first match, Pakistan cricket team is likely to make a couple of changes to their playing XI against England today in the ICC World Cup 2019.

The side looked ordinary against West Indies as they were bundled out on paltry 105 runs after being asked to bat first at the flat looking strip of Trent Bridge. It was their second lowest World Cup total after 1992 where they made 75 runs against same opposition.

Pakistani batsmen failed to resist to the short-pitched bowling of Windies, which other teams are surely going to repeat in the upcoming matches. However, the Sarfaraz Ahmed-led side was seen practicing vigorously against short balls ahead of the today’s match.

In last game, the tema management had made a few surprise picks in the playing XI as experienced campaigner, Shoaib Malik and firepower batsman, Asif Ali were left out. Both of them are, however, expected to feature today as Pakistan takes field against hosts.

Shoaib is likely to replace Haris Sohail while Asif will come in for Mohammad Hafeez.
