As it has been the case, the unpredictable English has already played spoilsport during the current edition of the ICC cricket World Cup-2019 and is expected to play spoilsport in upcoming matches as well.

The weather is going to play spoilsport during India’s World Cup match against New Zealand at Trent Bridge on Thursday. After that the high profile clash between arch rivals India and Pakistan on June 16 at Old Trafford, Manchester is also at the mercy of the weather gods.

“Manchester will experience sunshine and scattered showers on Sunday. It will be cool and breezy there too,” the weather sources in London were quoted by news reports.

Incessant rain has already washed out two matches — Pakistan vs Sri Lanka (Bristol) and West Indies vs South Africa (Southampton) — in the ongoing World Cup.
