Baramulla, April 20: Some exceptional display of batting and bowling by Mudasir Pintu and Irfan on Saturday handed HCC Handwara a massive win of 146 runs against Challengers Khoie in the ongoing Wullar Premier League, here at Tarzoo.

After finding luck with the coin, Handwara opted to bat first. The decision turned out to be quite fruitful as they got off to a scintillating start. Their innings was mastered by Mudasir Pintoo, who fell short of 4 runs to score a ton while Mohammad Asif also made comfortable 80 runs. The duo made sure to make no opportunities of scoring go waste, hence helping HCC post a mammoth total of 204 runs in the allotted 20 overs.

Coming out to respond this total, Challengers looked ordinary with the bat. Their batters couldn’t resist at the crease, largely with Irfan making the ball do all the talking, The pacer bowled at the right areas and made most of the new ball, taking a five-wicket-haul.

After this assault, Challengers finished up making paltry 58 runs, rewarding HCC Handwara a big win of 146 runs. Irfan for his fiery spell was later named as man of the match.

Meanwhile, Wullar Premier League is organized by Sports Association Tarzoo in association with sponsors including Maza Enterprises, ABGM, ARCO, Car Kraze Sangram, Waris Fruits, and Durend Cosmetics.
