Being in such a incredibly destructive touch in the current edition of Indian Premier League (IPL)-2019 some of the fans and the fellow cricketers are comparing West Indian Andre Russell with Avengers super heroes.
The destructive hard hitting all-rounder Andre Russell guided Kolkata Knight Riders to a win over Mumbai Indians on Sunday at Kolkata with a blistering knock of 80 off 40 deliveries.
In a post match conference Andre Russel acknowledged the comparison and said that if fans say so then I am ‘Super Hero’.
“Yes I am also a fan of Avengers, I am watching it for a while. If the fans say that I am a superhero I am happy,” Russell said.
About his incredible hitting, he said, “Hand-eye co-ordination, good bat speed and balance is important. I generate a lot of power from the shoulders and core. Everything works together. You need to make sure your body is fit and strong in order to play those upward shots in those moments”.
