Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Mixed Martial-Art has clinced as many as nine medals in the Yuwa Khel Summit 3rd edition at Mumbai.

The power-packed J&K team completely dominated in the event, bagging four gold and five silver medals for the state.

Among those who managed to win gold were Amish, Maheen Mushtaq, Suhail Hussain and Irfan Ali while Fahad Yaqoob, Arslaan Rashid Zubair, Sahil Manzoor, and Subail returned with silver.

Moreover, Amish, for scintillating performance at the event, was crowned with best figher award. The J&K team was accompanied byAijaz Hassan, general secretary J&K mixed martial-art association.

The event, which was held at Anderi Complex Mumbai from 13th to 15th February by FMMAI, witnessed 400 participants from 15 states across the country.
