Chanderhama : The 15th edition 2018 of the SNW Chanderhama kicked off with a glitzy opening cermony at SNW memorial stadium Chanderhama tehsil Pattan on Sunday here.
Once the Haji Mohammad Rafi Parrey Advisor Shaheen Sports Association cum founder of SNW T20 Cricket tournament Chanderhama along with Great Legends of J&K Abid Pathan JKCA.Observer , Samiuallah Begh Ranji Trophy Player J&K , Mohammad Akbar Khan International Cyclist declared the 15th Edition SNW T20 Cricket Tournament Chanderhama open after a colourful opening ceremony at SNW memorial Stadium Chanderhama Pattan,spectators stand up much to the applause in the stands.Mean while Nisar Ahmad Khanday ex-Ranji trophy player also attended the occassion.This year the SNW 15th edition will see more star players during the tournament at SNW memorial Stadium Chanderhama Pattan.
The innaugral match was played between PCC Pattan and Kashmir Knights.PCC Pattan disappointed after winning the toss and batting first at SNW memorial Stadium Chanderhama Pattan.PCC Pattan were never in the game consistently loosing wickets.At one stage PCC Pattan collapsed to 42/5 and never recovered from that position, finishing with a low score of 120 runs allout in 18.3 overs.Irfan was the highest scorer with 36 runs while Firdous Malik added 22 runs.
Adil Khan and Rafiq Baba were the star performers with ball, Adil Khan Scalped 4 wickets for 30 runs in 4 overs while Rafiq Baba took 3 wickets for 19 runs in 3.3 overs.
In reply the Lateef Dar-led Kashmir Knights suceesfully chased down the total of 121 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 17 overs.Lateef Dar played splendid knock of 39 runs off 32 balls followed by Hyder Ali with unbeaten 32 runs while Mushtaq Ahmad added 29 runs.Adil Khan was adjuged as player of the match while Lateef Dar was awarded with the best moment of the match for his splendid innings of 39 runs off 32 balls with 8 boundaries.
