Mitchell Grimstone, a 20-year-old New Zealand spectator, caught Ross Taylor’s six in the stands that helped him win New Zealand dollars 50,000 (Rs 23,75,500). New Zealand posted a mammoth 243/6 and in reply, Australia reached the target in 18.5 overs to pull off a sensational win.

D’Arcy Short anchored a high-powered Australian batting order to produce the highest successful run chase in Twenty20 international cricket to beat New Zealand by five wickets in their tri-series clash at Eden Park on Friday.

Short, who started his innings with several edges and false shots that went for boundaries at the small ground, scored 76 from 44 balls as the Australians reached 245 for five with seven deliveries remaining.
