Novelty Fc defeated hosts Sheikh ul Aalam football club in the final of the 7-A-Side Invitational football tournament at Sheikhpora playing field Budgam on Thursday.
In the final Novelty Fc beat Sheikh ul Aalam FC by 2-0 goals and lifted the title.
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Secretary Youth Wing Arif Laigroo was chief guest on the occasion while as PDP Youth District Srinagar President Majid Khan and veteran footballer Nisar Hussain were guest of honors.
Arif Laigroo hailed organizers for coming up with such an event and encouraged youth to take up sports activities.
The event was organized by Sheikh ul Aalam Sports Development Association and in it teams from all over Kashmir participated.
