Srinagar, Aug 21: The Aadipora T20 cricket tournament started on Thursday with Ashraf Cricket Club (ACC) defeating Sopore Syndicate Cricket Club by 14 runs in the opening match.
Batting first ACC scored 109 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. Hilal with 38 was highest scorer for them while as Aarif scored 36 runs.
In reply Sopore Syndicate could make only 95 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in allotted 20 overs. Latif Ahmad with 22 was highest scorer for them. Aarif Noor from ACC for scoring 36 runs and taking three wickets was awarded man of the match.
