Srinagar, November 08: As Abdul Samad is all set to appear for Sunrisers Hyderabad in their qualifier against Delhi Capitals, he became the J&K cricketer with most matches in IPL.

The 18-year-old surpassed Parvez Rasool who has played 11 matches in the mega league. While Parvez had to wait for four different seasons to play these matches for multiple franchises, Samad is playing the 12th match in his very first season.

The youngster played a few catchy cameos, making sure he leaves a impression. Since apart from his batting abilities, he is good in field and can bowl a few overs of leg-break, Sunrisers aren’t letting him miss any match.

Meanwhile, other than Samad and Parvez, Rasikh Salam, another J&K cricketer, played a solitary match in IPL 2019 for Mumbai Indians.
